Taylor Swift opted for a touch of “something blue” at Jack Antonoff and Margaret Qualley's recent wedding, although the reason might not be what you expect.
Before the ceremony held at Parker’s Garage in Long Beach Island, New Jersey, Swift was spotted wearing a lace corset dress in a delicate sky blue hue. She paired the ensemble with bejeweled sandals and aquamarine drop earrings. Interestingly, the choice of color was actually a special tribute to the groom. Fans of Swift, known as Swifties, will recognize that blue is associated with her 1989 album, which coincidentally marked her first collaboration with Antonoff.
The 1989 album cover featured Swift in a blue sweater, and the word “blue” appeared frequently in the lyrics of its songs. Moreover, during her Eras Tour this month, Taylor announced the re-recording of 1989 while donning five consecutive blue dresses.
Completing her attire as a wedding guest, Taylor adorned herself with a diamond necklace, a stack of bracelets, and her iconic bold red lip. Her long blonde hair cascaded down, styled straight with a middle part and blunt bangs.
Swift wasn't the only well-known attendee at Antonoff and Qualley's wedding. The guest list included other celebrities such as Zoë Kravitz accompanied by Channing Tatum, Lana Del Rey, and Cara Delevingne.
Exclusive photos obtained by People magazine showcased the bride donning a plunging white halter dress paired with stylish flats in lieu of high heels. Meanwhile, Antonoff opted for the timeless choice of a classic black suit, accompanied by white socks and black dress shoes.
