Margot Robbie isn't the only one embracing dress-up adventures. Ryan Gosling recently made waves at a press event, showing off his own fashion prowess. While Margot Robbie explored Barbie's iconic looks, Gosling channeled a Palm Springs Ken vibe with his pastel blues and pinks.
At the Toronto photo call for Greta Gerwig's highly anticipated film “Barbie,” where Gosling portrays one of the many Kens, he arrived in a baby blue Gucci suit. The suit was perfectly complemented by a powder pink button-up subtly embossed with Gucci's double-G logo. To complete the on-theme ensemble, he wore lavender-colored loafers featuring Gucci's signature red-and-green stripe and a gold horsebit buckle.
Gosling's hair, still blond but transitioning back to his natural color, was styled in a gently ruffled manner, and his facial hair was impeccably groomed, deviating from Ken's typical clean-shaven appearance.

Joining Gosling in the Ken lineup was his co-star, Simu Liu, who also incorporated hints of pink into his outfit. Liu layered a textured sweater under a pale green leather jacket, paired with maroon trousers. His look was finished off with blue-and-orange sneakers. It's safe to say that we'd happily play with their Kens any day.
Gosling's casting as Ken raised some eyebrows due to his age, but he had a witty response for the Ken skeptics. He said, “If people don't want to play with my Ken, there are many other Kens to play with,” in a recent interview with GQ. This kind of clutching-your-pearls idea of, like, #notmyken… You never cared. Barbie never messed with Ken. That's the point. You would be aware that no one cares about Ken if you had ever truly cared about him. Your hypocrisy is now made clear. His narrative needs to be conveyed for this reason.
