The Paris Fashion Week for the spring-summer 2023 season began with five regular shows. The show schedule includes 106 shows, distributed between 64 live shows and 42 launch parties. The most prominent seasonal event in the fashion world is organized by the French Haute couture Union.
The event kicked off with the presentation of a new brand, Weinsanto, which took the form of an advertising campaign for its new summer collection, directed by its founder Victor Winsanto, who launched the house in 2020.
The Acne Studios brand will celebrate its 10th anniversary, and it is reported that the house was exhibiting in London until 2012, when it moved its headquarters to Paris and started releasing its collections there.
Besides well-known names such as Dior, Chanel and Louis Vuitton, the event will witness the first show of designer Victoria Beckham in Paris, besides the return of Japanese designers to show in Paris after a break because of the Corona pandemic, and the complications of travel in past seasons. The following brands will showcase their designs for Summer 2023: Yohji Yamamoto, Comme des Garcons, and Issey Miyake for the first time since the founder’s death.
