However, it was their heartwarming and slightly comical display of friendship that stole the spotlight. At one point on the red carpet, while posing for a photo together, Emily's blazer button unexpectedly burst open, revealing her bra underneath. Without skipping a beat, Florence instinctively used her own body to shield Emily from the cameras, and the two friends shared a moment of laughter and hugs as they attempted to fix the wardrobe malfunction.
Although Emily's appearance at the premiere coincides with the release of the film she stars in alongside Florence, Matt Damon, and Robert Downey Jr., scheduled to hit theaters on July 21 (the same day as the aforementioned Barbie movie, no less), it comes shortly after the actress revealed her plan to take a break from acting and prioritize motherhood.
During a recent appearance on the Table For Two podcast, Emily opened up about the challenges of balancing her career with being a mother to her two daughters, whom she shares with her husband John Krasinski.
“This year, I'm taking a step back from work. I had quite a busy year last year, and my eldest daughter is turning 9, so we're entering the last year of single digits. There are certain aspects of their day that are so important when they're little,” she shared. “It's about waking them up, taking them to school, picking them up, putting them to bed. I want to be there for all those moments during this crucial time. I just feel it deep in my heart.”
