In a case of déjà vu, another supermodel's daughter is stepping into the fashion limelight. Following in the footsteps of Kaia Gerber, Cindy Crawford's daughter, is Grace Burns, the 19-year-old mini-me of Christy Turlington.
Grace made her highly anticipated Milan Fashion Week debut at the Alberta Ferretti spring-summer 2024 fashion show. Striding confidently down the runway, she showcased a stunning floral one-shoulder dress in a delightful color palette of blush, mauve, and green. Complementing her ensemble, Grace wore nude strappy sandals, while her dark brunette hair was slicked back behind her ears with a sleek middle part.
Eager to share her excitement, Grace posted a video of her catwalk moment on Instagram, expressing her gratitude to Alberta Ferretti for the opportunity to be a part of their beautiful collection. She wrote in the caption, “@albertaferretti thank you thank you thank you for having me in your show… in a castleeeeee!!!!! So so so honored to be a part of this beautiful collection????????????.”
Grace's modeling journey began earlier this year when she walked her first runway show at the British Vogue x LuisaViaRoma event in Florence, Italy. For the occasion, she wore a custom Victoria Beckham dress, complemented by black lace gloves and matching stockings. Additionally, Grace appeared alongside her mother in a Carolina Herrera campaign, further cementing her presence in the fashion industry.
While it may seem as though Grace's success was long overdue, given her striking resemblance to her mother, she had to wait until her 18th birthday to embark on her modeling career. Reflecting on this, she shared with HOMMES Magazine, “I was officially allowed to begin modeling at 18; that was the age my mom always had in mind, and I wouldn't have it any other way. I remember denying the interest to anyone and everyone because I hadn't yet told her. However, I'd longed to be 18 for some time. My first job was last January, after my birthday, after I had gotten into college!”
