The Haute Couture Week is nearing its end, characterized by a richness of details and designs trend that filled the runways across the French capital. What particularly caught our attention was the show by the world-renowned designer Zuhair Murad, which took place yesterday during Paris Haute Couture Week, showcasing beautiful chaos. Designers presented couture trends in their shows, summarizing what you need to know about couture and evening dress trends for Fall/Winter 2024-2025 to shine in your important occasions.

Mosaic Trend: A Masterpiece More Than Just a Beautiful Outfit

Haute Couture Week Highlights: The Best Wedding and Evening Gown Trends for Fall/Winter 2024-2025

This trend is the most beautiful according to Zuhair Murad; the designer played with pieces of glass on sheer fabric, resembling an explosion of mirrors. These pieces were assembled and crafted using colored mosaic techniques that combine nude tones with pink reflections. In his show at Haute Couture Week, Zuhair Murad sculpted the woman’s figure in a Halter Neck dress, coordinated with a cape draped over the shoulders made of black velvet. He paired this with high velvet black boots to create an attractive contrast between velvet and colored glass, reflecting stunning colors under the lights.

Embroidered Cape Trend with Robert Abi Nader

We chose this black outfit from Robert Abi Nader, embroidered with gold on a tulle base, carrying an Eastern theme as it resembles a caftan with wide sleeves, and is close to an abaya, featuring a flowing cut. It was distinguished by raised, shiny thread embroidery, adorned with a long, embroidered satin cape, adding a touch of overwhelming femininity to the look.

Drapery Technique with a New Concept

This is a wonderful dress characterized by an asymmetrical cut adorned with a hollowing technique. It is gathered on one side, sculpting the upper part, with embroidered silver and pearly stones on a sheer base. The draped fabric merges with thick, pliable fabric, which is black velvet, creating a three-dimensional panel that shows the ensemble's harmony despite its contrasting elements, which is the secret of its appeal.

Geometric Designs Inspired by the World of Mathematics

The house of Viktor & Rolf launched an elegant collection characterized by designs taken from the world of geometry and mathematics, featuring shoulders cut in shapes like triangles, rectangles, inverted pyramids, or even circles. We chose for you a jacket with a color block technique paired with a bodysuit with wild prints, coordinated with high stilettos with wild prints.

Transparency at Its Best

The trend of refined transparency, far from vulgarity, was prominently displayed by Yuima Nakazato, through the integration of fabric and sculpted gold metal in one outfit that epitomizes elegance and femininity. The designer combined silk chiffon with a metal sculpture representing a flower covering the upper part of the dress. It's hard to determine whether the dress is extremely daring or extremely elegant, and here lies the designer’s genius in creating a fashion trend that is unlike any other but executed in a distinct style.
