It is well known that July is a plastic-free month. This aims to raise awareness of the environmental and health risks that may result from the use of this substance. But the world could not abandon it yet. So we still buy juices, for example, that are kept in plastic containers. But what many do not know is that it is possible not to throw these containers into the trash and take advantage of them by turning them into pieces of accessories or decorations.
plastic in decoration
In the plastic-free month of July, the world is thinking about how to get rid of this substance as much as possible. Until this is done, it is useful to learn some ways that help convert plastic containers into decorative pieces used in arranging home décor.
#1 Converting covers into artistic paintings. This means collecting many of them in different colors and arranging them. For example, in this case, it is possible to draw natural scenery on the wall by sticking the covers on it in the correct way. Thus, a wonderful mosaic can be got.
#2 One idea that can also be applied is to use the bases of plastic containers by cutting them and separating them from other parts. It is better to choose the one that looks like a rose. After this, it can be painted in different colors and pasted on the wall in a distinctive artistic way.
#3 It is also possible, in the plastic-free month, to convert plastic containers into small flower beds. One side of the object must be cut and mounted on the wall so that the open side faces upwards. Thus, it can be filled with soil and planted with selected plants in it.
#4 It is possible to rely on colored hard plastic containers in order to convert them into distinctive lighting devices. Here, you can put a small lamp inside and use it to enjoy the light in the quiet evenings.
5- In the plastic-free month, it is also possible to implement distinctive ideas aimed at recycling plastic containers and benefiting from them instead of throwing them into the trash. One suggestion that can be applied in this context is also wrapping the package with colored ropes and turning it into a flowerpot or filling it with colored pebbles, for example.
