You can never have too many blazers in your wardrobe, and nobody knows this better than Kate Middleton. She consistently champions pantsuit sets in various colors like khaki, optic white, and emerald green for her official appearances. Today, she once again proves her mastery of power dressing.
In Cardiff, Wales, alongside her husband Prince William, Middleton made an appearance to commemorate the start of Black History Month in the U.K. and the 75th anniversary of the arrival of HMT Empire Windrush in London. For the occasion, she elegantly sported a navy blue pinstripe two-piece set. The ensemble featured a sleek double-breasted blazer adorned with gold buttons and high-waisted trousers, paired with a white plunging blouse. Completing the royal look were navy blue pumps, a silver wristwatch, and delicate gold hoop earrings embellished with pearls.
As for her beauty look, Middleton styled her face-framing curtain bangs with her signature blown-out, bouncy waves. Her glowing complexion was complemented by a smoky eye, rosy cheeks, and a subtle pink lip.
Prince William also switched up his style for the event, opting for a black sports jacket paired with navy blue trousers. He completed his ensemble with brown suede shoes and a navy blue knitted tie with a square end.
During the event, Prince William acknowledged the significant role played by members of the Windrush Generation during their settlement in the U.K. in the 1950s and 1960s, despite the hardships they faced. He expressed pride in his family's long-standing support for this cause, mentioning his father's involvement in Windrush Day and the recent celebration of his grandmother's Platinum Jubilee, which brought people from diverse communities together to recognize the changes of the past seventy years and look towards the future.
