Kim Kardashian possesses the unique ability to transform an ordinary pair of blue jeans into a wearable masterpiece. However, the credit for her exceptional denim creation isn't hers alone.
In a mirror selfie posted on Friday, the fashion mogul showcased herself wearing a white crop top paired with vintage light-wash Levi's. These Levis, which can carry a price tag of over $1,000, have been transformed into an artwork featuring doodles by her four children: 10-year-old North, 7-year-old Saint, 5-year-old Chicago, and 4-year-old Psalm. Using black permanent marker, their drawings adorn the denim. Giving a closer look at the artistic expressions, Kim shared a snapshot of the jeans' front, displaying the heartfelt words “Mom” and “I ❤️ U.” On the back of one pant leg, the word “Happy” is spelled backward next to a heart symbol.
Kim initiated her caption with, “I just love my babies!” She went on to elaborate on the sentimental significance behind the unique pants. “For Mother's Day this year, they crafted these jeans for me, and their happiness upon seeing me wear their artwork was palpable!” she revealed. “Every Mother's Day, they've adorned clothing with their drawings, which I will cherish forever.”
She continued by expressing her delight in observing her children's personalities shining through their artwork. She highlighted how the specific artistic contributions of each child can be identified on different parts of the jeans. From Psalm's hand and footprints to Saint's soccer-themed drawings, North's reversed letters, and Chi's hearts — these elements have etched memories she intends to hold dear.
This isn't the first instance of Kim wearing something adorned by her children's artwork. Back in 2014, she was gifted a $20,000 Hermès Birkin bag that had been finger-painted by her eldest daughter, North, when North was still not even two years old. This memorable gift was presented on Kim's 34th birthday. Fast forward seven years, and Kim treated her followers to a close-up view of the paint-splattered bag. In a video shared on Instagram, she marveled at the masterpiece and affirmed her belief in North's artistic talent.
