Leave it to rap sensation Megan Thee Stallion to take any fashion essential and wear its sheer version (see: her transparent disco outfit and cut-out lace dress). So it's no surprise her latest Instagram flaunts an ensemble giving haute couture a sexy twist. In today's quiet luxury era, brand names can be hard to spot, but Meg and stars like Dua Lipa (and her see-through Gucci bra) prove logomania is returning.
On Monday, Meg shared an Instagram photo series of recent “hot girl” outfits. The first slide captured Meg in a skintight mesh Burberry catsuit boasting the label's signature plaid. The long-sleeve jumper appeared layered over a beige bodysuit and had a mock turtleneck top. She accessorized with a diamond choker and matching bracelets and styled her brown hair in a sleek shoulder-length bob.
The next selfie highlighted the performer's profile in a different yet equally sheer jumpsuit. This turtleneck one-piece layered over matching bra and underwear. Her hair dyed a bright red (more proof it's the season's color). Other photos showed Meg in a multi-colored swimsuit, rhinestone-encrusted bikini bottoms, an untied silk robe, athleisure crop top and shorts, and skinny jeans with a sheer tank. She also included a close-up of her butterfly navel piercing and matching acrylic nails, plus a balanced meal with fresh veggies, rice, and salmon.
“????✌????,” she simply captioned the photo roundup. Meg's famous friends hyped her up in the comments. Halle Bailey wrote, “You look amazing ❤️????,” while sister Chloe commented, “my goodness gracious.” Fellow musician Justine Skye wrote, “Megggg! ???? it’s giving luxurious lifestyle! ????.”
In a recent interview, the Grammy winner told InStyle she's using this time to heal after her trial with Tory Lanez, sentenced to 10 years in prison. “Fans can expect new music when I’m in a better place,” she said in May. “Right now, I’m focused on healing.”
“The music industry can be a grind, so it’s important to take time off and avoid burning out,” she added. And as her photos suggest, “Life is all about balance.”
