Paris in winter is characterized by practical elegance and contemporary classic cuts, not lacking in precise details such as the tailored overcoat on top of long pants and the “Layers” style imprinted on the ordering of items. Fashion is divided into two categories: minimalist or heavily detailed and printed.
The Saint Laurent Men's Fashion Week in Paris began on January 17th and will continue until January 22nd, 2023. The first day of the event included seven of the most prominent shows from the Saint Laurent house, as well as Kidill and Wales Bonner, who is expected to be appointed as the creative director of Louis Vuitton's men's collection. Other shows included Valette Studio, among others. Louis Vuitton presented its collection on January 19th, while Dior presented its collection the following day, with Maison Margiela wrapping up the week after a day from the Hermes and Loewe show.
One of the most notable observations on the first day of the Paris Men's Fashion Week was the use of colorful fashion styles. Fashion has gone beyond the usual limits and becomes a unified message between the five continents and their civilizations and cultures. The best looks from some of the French shows include:
Saint Laurent
The collection was dominated by black and white, with large knots or ties dominating the outfits. The outfits were characterized by wide, straight, and fluffy collars and the use of leather and fur.
Etudes
The designs were characterized by the dominance of warm wooden colors and expertise in blending different colors and fabrics, such as treated blue denim with varying shades.
Egon Lab
The house specializes in presenting short Kashmiri treasures and narrow leather shorts with high socks that match long tied belts that extend to the calves. The sweaters vary in length from short blazers to shiny sweaters and long coats. The collection is marked by bright and strong colors such as Fuschia, indigo, and yellow, with some printed fashions.
Saunders
The collection was marked by the interlocking gray color with white fluffy treasures, wide straight pants, and a comfortable character. The coats were wide-cut coat in dark gray.
Kidill
The group was characterized by a youthful and modern street style, with bomber jackets adorned with patches or embroidery technology, high cotton socks that extended to mid-calf, and cotton treasures adorned with colorful drawings and prints. The group was dominated by wide-permed pants that extend under the ankle.
The second day of the men's fashion week was also marked by crowds in the catwalk shows, with the most prominent being the Givenchy house. The house focused on classic black but with sophisticated classic cuts, such as high jackets without padding or wide black coats with coordinating pants under permed cotton. The Van Beirendonck show was marked by black-edged wrapped coats with straight-cut classic outfits, and the Solide Homme show was characterized by shiny leather jackets with beige fur coordinated with permed pants and colorful shoes.
