Maria Grazia Chiuri, Artistic Director of the prestigious House of Dior, has created a new style for the famous Dior Book Tote bag, inspired by a photograph of the international designer Christian Dior, in his winter garden, a historical photograph by photographer “Mark Shaw”. In a tribute move, the Dior collection, for ready-to-wear for the fall-winter 2022-2023 season, weaved this image into this famous design, through the art of historical high-end embroidery.
Inspired by a historical painting of over twenty different colors, this distinctive embroidery is meticulously embroidered on the iconic Dior Book Tote bag, made by master artisans in Italy. This bag is hand-assembled. It was assembled manually, which made it more distinctive, and its distinctive embroidery made it an exceptional piece, a symbol of the spirit of Dior and a poem that mimics the art of beautiful, ancient details.
